JasperReports – once & now

JasperReports is an open source library for creating reports that can be embedded in Java applications. Reports built with this tool enable presenting dinamic content of wide range, such as simple text, tabular display, shiny charts or advanced crosstab reports. The emphasis of this work is put on authors longterm experience in working with JasperReports. In that context, this work shows representative report examples that depict main characteristics of this reporting tool but also gives an overview of the upgrades introduced in JasperReports during its development.
